Saudi Arabia-based Integrated Telecom Company (ITC) aims to expand its wholesale services globally in terms of managed IT services, managed security services, and more, according to Georges Jaber, Business Development & Wholesale Division. Telecom Review TV spoke to Jaber at the 2017 Telecom Review Summit in Dubai, who spoke about the company’s strategy going into 2018.

In a wide-ranging interview, Telecom Review TV caught up with Silicon Valley-based Sri Reddy, Senior Vice President for IP/Optical Networks at Nokia, who spoke about how enterprises are changing drastically to adopt more digital and cloud-based business practices. He also touched on 5G, and talked about Nokia’s FP4, the world’s first 2.4Tb/s network processor which allows the most advanced networks to deliver up to 6x more speed.

Telecom Review TV caught up with Deemah AlYahya, CEO of Saudi Arabia’s National Digitization Unit (NDU), a government arm mandated to accelerate efforts to achieve Saudi Vision 2030 objectives, an initiative to diversify the kingdom’s economy away from oil dependence. Ms. AlYahya said Saudi NDU was inspired by Dubai’s vision.

Saudi Telecom Company (STC), Saudi Arabia’s largest telecom provider, focused on its enterprise business at GITEX Technology Week in Dubai this year. The company introduced new enterprise solutions, including cloud and IoT services. It’s a new chapter for STC, said Key Accounts VP Riyadh Muawad, as the company aims to be the back bone of Saudi Arabia’s transformation agenda. 

Riverbed, an American IT company that develops products to improve application performance across wide area networks (WANs), recently commissioned a study surveying 1,000 IT decision makers globally to explore the impact legacy and next-generation networks have on cloud adoption and digital transformation. Telecom Review TV discussed the findings with Charbel Khniesser, Riverbed's Regional Presales Director for Middle East, Turkey and North Africa.
