Dr. David Kravitz, VP-Crypto Systems Research at UAE security firm DarkMatter, shared his insights on blockchain technology and cyber-security with Telecom Review TV at the 2017 Telecom Review Summit. Kravitz Spearheads research and development efforts on a variety of cyber security and privacy topics, including Internet of Things, Public Key Infrastructure, Privilege Management Infrastructure, and advances in blockchain.

Dr. Chaesub Lee, Director of the Telecommunications Standardization Bureau, part of the ITU, caught up with Telecom Review TV at the Telecom Review Summit 2017 to share his perspective on digital and smart governance, and the importance of SMART networking. Lee reflected on his panel discussion at the Summit which focused on the role of governments in digital transformation and emerging technologies such as 5G.

Zain Jordan CEO, Ahmad Hanandeh, spoke to Telecom Review TV at the Telecom Review Summit 2017 about his vision for the future of telecommunications – a future that is more digital and more “disruptive”. Zain Jordan is a subsidiary of Kuwaiti telecom group Zain.

At the Telecom Review Summit 2017, Telecom Review TV caught up with Tarig Rahmatalla, CEO of Expresso Telecom Group, an African telecommunications company that provides services in five African markets including Mauritania, Senegal, Guinea, and Ghana. Imad Kreidieh, Director General of OGERO Telecom, the main operator of the fixed telecommunications network in Lebanon, spoke to Telecom Review TV at the Telecom Review Summit 2017 about his participation at the event where he discussed digital transformation and digital government, with a focus on Lebanon, where transformation “is lagging behind.”
